Salisbury RFC’s Colts (U17 plus U18) is a large squad of more than 50 players from which we turn out two teams. This season, they are entered into separate divisions of the Dorset & Wilts Under-18 Cup league competition.

We have a strong squad and are proud of the fact that our players strive to improve and really work for each other in training and in matches. Over the season, we will give all players the opportunity to play competitive and social rugby.

To find out more and meet the squad, feel free to turn up at a training session on a Sunday afternoon from 12.30 pm-2.30 pm when we don’t have a match (see fixtures below), or a Thursday evening, 6.30 pm-7.45 pm.

We aim to develop every player to the best of their abilities and, in so doing, for the whole age group to develop. The U18s are part of the SRFC Academy, meaning they can undertake appropriate joint training with U16 players to help them be ready for when they become U18s. We also start to introduce our U18s to our Senior sides, and where a player is clearly ready, we do have some who are approved to play with our Seniors in order to develop them.

Our coaching team has a wide range of playing and coaching experience, and all hold the appropriate coaching qualifications.
