We welcome players of all abilities, experience levels and backgrounds: whether you're new to rugby or an old hand, you'll find a place in our inclusive and supportive community.

Mini rugby is mixed from Under 6 up to Under 11. In this last mixed year, the U11 boys and girls further develop contact rugby, notably with contested scrums of 3 players and kicking introduced, while rucking is expanded. It's beginning to look an awful lot like the rugby on TV! Safety in the tackle and scrum is a constant theme, and then there's a blend of training and matches with the emphasis on enjoyment and challenge.

We train from 10am to about 11.40am on Sundays, feel free to bring your son or daughter down to watch or try out (best on a Sunday when we don’t have a match). You can also e-mail headminis@salisburyrfc.org for more information.

We offer everyone three free sessions with no obligations to see if they like it. We can’t guarantee there’ll be a place straight away as we get lots of interest, but we always try our best!

We ensure our coaching staff are qualified and all within our clear safeguarding framework. We’re committed to delivering top-notch training and guidance, and we always encourage parents to get involved, either in coaching, helping manage the team or as first aid volunteers.
