Salisbury RFC has a thriving Under-16 boys team and we welcome new players to join those who have been with us for many years. We have a strong squad and are proud of the fact that our players strive to improve and really work for each other in training and in matches. Over the season, we will give all players the opportunity to play competitive and social rugby.

Our aim is to develop every player to the best of their abilities and, in so doing, for the whole age group to develop. The U16s are part of the SRFC Academy along with the U18s, known as the Colts. This allows them to undertake appropriate joint training so that they get to know the U18s ready for when they become Colts.

To find out more and meet the squad, feel free to turn up at a training session on a Sunday afternoon. That’s usually from 12.30pm to around 2.30pm when we don’t have a match (check the fixtures list below!).

Our coaching staff are well qualified, experienced and committed to delivering top-notch training and guidance. We also always encourage parents to get involved, either in coaching, helping manage the team or as first aid volunteers.

Our age groups all have really healthy numbers, but we always try to welcome new players where we can. If we do have space, we invite your son to come for three training sessions without any obligations to see if they like it and want to continue.
