What a fantastic way to end 2025 with the U18 Spitfires welcoming a valiant PortUSfield for the highest scoring match of the season. In an incredible contest which saw end-to-end rugby throughout and a total of 19 tries scored, our incredible Spitfires came away with a well-earned win. A win that is testament to their rugby skills, their fitness and most importantly their incredible commitment to each other.

PortUSfield, despite being understrength and early in their rugby journey fought hard throughout keeping the score within touching distance all the way until the final 15 minutes when our Spitfires pulled away to end the game 63-46 ahead. A special mention must be made for the flying-centre Rosie White who scored 4 immense tries as well as putting in easily the largest number of tackles on the day - an outstanding performance!
A great way to head into the Christmas break and a performance by our girls that bodes very well indeed for 2026.
