I wish to inform you that Rupert Blake has resigned from his role as Finance Director of Salisbury RFC. Rupert has been a key member of the Board for 18 months or so, leading the club on all financial matters. He has put in place a strong financial framework, holding the club, board members, and employees to account, and productively managed the relationships with our accounting and bookkeeping partners.

Rupert has committed to hand over the role in a controlled and measured way in the next few weeks. The existing board has the skills and bandwidth within it to cover Rupert's departure for a short period whilst we look for a long term replacement so I am happy we can manage the impact for now. The recruitment process will start straight way.

I will miss Rupert who has been a tremendous support to me personally and to all members of the board, taking on far more than was expected. I wish him well for the future and look forward to him remaining an active VP and member of the Walking Rugby squad.
