Deposit of £60 per person is requested to be paid by Sun 02 Oct 11. Cheques or cash accepted. Cheques should be made out to ‘Salisbury RFC’. The balance of £60 per person will be due by mid Feb 12

Update - SRFC Mini tour to Liddington 04-06 May 2012

We have 104 children and adults confirmed attending the SRFC end of season mini tour to Liddington, which is great news and should make for a good weekend.

Cost

The final cost of the tour is being held at the same price as last year - £110 per person. Most of you have already paid £60 pp and so, for the majority, the final payment will be £50 pp (or £100 for parent and child). I will speak to age groups over the next few weeks to confirm what individuals still owe. If you can't remember just ask! Anyone who pulls out now, unfortunately will not have their monies refunded.

Please can I have the monies paid to me by Sunday 12 Feb 12 at the latest.

12 Feb Final payment to Ed Paden (U10s) - cheques payable to SRFC

15 Feb Final confirmation of numbers and payment to PGL by organiser (me!)

Mar-Apr Room and activity allocation.

End Apr Issue of tour kit and final admin instruction.

Fundraising opportunities

We have already managed to raise nearly £1000 towards the cost of the tour through fund raising activities. The following fund raising activities are still planned:

15 Feb (tbc) Jerry Smith (U7s parent) talk in SRFC about ‘ Gassed! A brief history on chemical weapons' - open to all comers

Feb (date tbc, 2hrs) Bag packing in Tesco, Southampton road - 10-15 children in SRFC kit required to draw in the £ from the shoppers (parent help also requested to advise on packing!!)

If we make more money, then we can reduce the cost further or buy more tour goodies!

Tour Kit

The tour top will probably be a hooded sweatshirt. I will aim to try and get a size guide out in late Feb/ Early Mar so that an order can be placed with a local company in time for delivery before the end of the season. If anyone knows of any benevolent local companies out there that may be willing to donate either items or cash towards the tour in exchange for recognition on tour merchandise - let me know ASAP.

Depending on the final price for the tour tops, I intend to try and source some other goodies(waterbottles, hats, bags etc). It is unlikely that the money will stretch to tops for the adults. If it doesn't then they will still be available, although it will cost a little extra.
