Salisbury RFC hosted the Salisbury Area Primary School Tag Rugby Festival on Wednesday 24th March 2010 (12-4pm). 32 teams entered, 320 players from year 6 plus numerous teachers and parents. The winners were: Trophy comp winners - Broadchalke runners up - St Mark's Plate comp winners - Bulford runners up - Winterslow Key organisers Karlene Jammeh - Sport Development Officer for Wiltshire Council Hamish Morton - Salisbury RFC School Liaison Officer Simon Hedges - Salisbury RFC Director of Community Rugby Plus numerous volunteers from Salisbury RFC to open up, prepare pitches, attend to the car park, provide hot and cold refreshments etc. Also: 20 sport leaders from South Wilts Grammar School 4 sport leaders from Bishop Wordsworth School 8 referees from local rugby clubs volunteered
