Salisbury RFC announced its awards at the Player's Dinner on Saturday 30th April. Young Player of the year went to Rory Davis. The 21 year old, formerly of Bath Youth and Chippenham, has fully established himself at fly half becoming one of the leading points scorers in Southern Counties. Most Improved Player was awarded to George Morgan who converted from the back row to the front row during this season and has made an excellent transition becoming a regular 1st XV prop. The Player's Player was awarded to Richard West from the 1st XV and Mark Ward from the 2nd XV. Both are long-standing members of the Club prepared to give their all selflessly.
Player of the Year went to front rower Luke Esnouf (pictured in possession). Luke's powerful running and ball carrying has been a feature of Salisbury's attack this season. He has worked tirelessly in the set-piece and open play to make openings and provide possession. This has been a major contribution to Salisbury's impressive points total this season.
