Salisbury Rugby Club were delighted to host the U11s Wiltshire Cup last Sunday on a glorious day for Rugby. After some last minute withdrawals seven of the strongest clubs from Wiltshire were represented from Bradford on Avon, Wootton Bassett, Devizes, Chippenham, Marlborough and Trowbridge and Salisbury.
It was a tough competition but Salisbury were able to win all of their 6 of their matches and topped the group scoring 20 tries and conceding only 1 which was a fantastic effort by the whole squad. They are worthy Champions.
The fight for 2nd place and a place to go through to the Dorset & Wiltshire Finals Day with Salisbury found Bradford on Avon needing to beat Marlborough. A very tough contest ensued with Bradford just winning to go through.
A great day was had by all

Looking at the forecast overnight and early tomorrow am, we are likely to have difficult pitch conditions for a 1000 start ie -5C till 0600 then 4C from 0900 with bright sunshine, therefore training will start at the earliest 10:30 when head coaches will inspect pitches and determine whether it is safe to train.
On no circumstances is training to start before 10:30 and only then if it is safe.

The will open the doors - front - rear of changing rooms at 9.15am and subject to the prompt arrival of kitchen assistants, be operational with food and drink 9.15 - 9.30am.
Club shop open from 10am and bar between 11 and 12 depending on demand.
Lucozade and chocolate will be available from the machines at all times.
