With the B Team at Havant Festival, reinforced with a couple of A Team players, Salisbury could only field  nine A Team players to host Devises as they visited Salisbury at short notice.  Devises kindly loaned up to 3 players to Salisbury during various stages of the day.

After the initial shock of an early Devises try, Salisbury fought back with some aplomb.  Salisbury scored twice in the first half and a further 4 times in the second.  Tom McFarland scored 3 times, once after an incredible run.  Josh Ellis scored once, as did Daniel Harris and Henry Butts (on his welcome return).  Charlie Heywood accquired a bloody nose.

Clearly Devises had adjusted the boys that they loaned to Salisbury for the second game, and Salisbury was very tired, because the match was much more balanced.  Salisbury had the best of it, but failed to strike home for a try.  The closest chance came from Daniel Harris, who made it over the line but was not in control of the ball when it grounded – so close and yet so far.
