Welcome to Salisbury RFC Community website area. Read on to find out more about what we do. We aim to educate, motivate and inspire through the game of rugby union Our commitment to the community is ongoing, working with partners, and focusing on forging and developing strong relationships with schools, colleges, local authorities and businesses. Each year we adopt a charity partner, to help raise their profile and also funds through a number of events. In 2009 we supported the Alzheimer’s Society (for more information see www.alzheimers.org.uk) and raised £3,500 from the 3 Peaks Challenge, 34-mile walk from Christchurch Priory to Salisbury Cathedral and a Local Golf Day. In 2010 we have agreed to support the Stars Appeal (for more information see www.starsappeal.org)There will be a number of events taking place during the year, and would appreciate your help and/or your participation. As well as working with local charities, we are developing wider and deeper relationships with local schools, so that children can experience the game of rugby both in their school and/or at the rugby club. We are pleased to be hosting the Salisbury Schools Tag festival on 24th March 2010.
