Child Protection

CRB – It is now RFU Policy (see P21, 12.3.1 of the RFU ‘Policy & Procedures for the Welfare of Young People’ document) that “all adults who have regular supervisory contact with young people” undertake a CRB disclosure. The RFU views disclosure, as does any organisation whom employs professionals or volunteers to work with young people, as proper and necessary recruitment practice

In accordance with the above statement from the RFU the club's policy endorses the RFU decision therefore:

‘All those who have regular input into Under 18 Rugby (coaches, referees, administrators, regular parent helpers) need to have a CRB Disclosure EVEN if  you have one from another organisation (government guidelines).   Please contact Jane Mackay to arrange with her to receive a form and arrange a mutually suitable time to complete.  She will need to see two of the following:  passport, driving license, birth certificate or marriage certificate AND a utility bill.’

Jane Mackay (Under 11s)  01722 503999, jane-mackay@ntlworld.com  Please don’t presume I will be at Salisbury on a Sunday morning because many of our games are away this season.
